Mazyr City Executive Committee Warns Heads of Enterprises

At 3 p.m. on 21 March Mazyr City Executive Committee summonsed the heads of the city’s enterprises and organizations. The latter ones were warned about personal responsibility for participation of their workers in the celebration of Freedom Day on 25 March in Minsk.

In the morning of 22 March the director of Belaruskabel H.Ivanou made an admonition to the chair of the technical department Uladzimir Tseliapun, local human rights activist. The same day the enterprise was visited by the chair of the prophylaxis department of Mazyr city police department V.Krotau, who tried to conduct a talk with Tseliapun (who was summonsed for it to the office of the chair of industrial safety V.Perzhanitsa) and probably demand from him to sign the undertaking not to participate in the Freedom Day. Uladzimir Tseliapun refused from the talk. He also warned V.Perzhanitsa and V.Krotau against disturbing him for any reasons not connected to his work.
