Primary Organization of Free Trade Union of Belarus at Brest State University again Left without Legal Address

Before this the chair of the primary organization of Brest State University Valiantsin Lazarenkau applied to the university rector Mikhail Chasnouski with the request to return the old legal address which the organization had been deprived of last year. In his letter Lazarenkau referred to the ILO recommendations. The rector disappointed him by answering that the administration of the university saw no reasons to change its decision not to give a legal address to the trade union organization.

V.Lazarenkau intends to continue struggling for justice. At present there are more than 30 members of the independent trade union at the university, and they are not going to join the official trade union.
