Today in the center of Minsk an activist of the United Civil Party Andrei Dzmitryeu has been seized by unknown people in mufti. They packed him into a military bus UAZ and took away in unknown direction. The Charter’97 press-center has been reported about that by a civil society activist Natallya Rabava, who was near Andrei at the moment of abduction. As said by Natallia Rabava, Dzmitryieu was arrested in Zakharau Street by two athletic men in mufti. They had close-cropped hair. Dzmitryieu tried to fight, but his arms were twisted back, and mouth gagged. Two more men ran out of the dark green car UAZ 8912 BT7. They pushed Dzmitryieu into the car and took him in an unknown direction.
Natallia Rabava believes that representatives of secret services could have abducted Dzmitryieu for his active participation in the election campaign.
