On October 17 the Supreme Court of Belarus will consider an appeal of the opposition Communist Party against the warning issued by the Ministry of Justice.
The party received a written warning on August 15. It was warned for failure to present a list of party members. That requirement violated the Law on Political Parties that does not oblige citizens to indicate their party membership in official documents. That is why the Communist party protested against the warning at the Supreme Court. The court will hear the case on October 17.
