Belarus: 153rd place out of 159 in liberty rating

The State of World Liberty agency has composed the rating of freedom. It has studied such indicators as personal liberty, economical liberty, tax burden, etc. in 159 countries, using the reports issued by the Heritage Foundation, Wall Street Journal, Frasier, Cato, Freedom House and Reporters Without Borders.
The title of the freest country belongs to Estonia. Irlandia, Canada, Switzerland, Island, the Bahamas, the UK, USA, Cyprus and New Zeeland follow it in the tenth of the most liberal countries.
Lithuania occupies the 16th place, Latvia 21st. Among the CIS countries the highest, 58th place belongs to Georgia. Ukraine is under #87, Russia 124. Belarus is 153rd in the list. Only one CIS country is still lower Turkmenistan (154). North Korea (159) closes the list.
