In Mahilyou during a flash-mob dedicated to another Day of Solidarity, protesters were detained. Among them are a leader of the regional branch of the Belarusian Popular Front party Ryhor Kastusyou, the UCP activist Syarhei Straltsoum Iryna Kacharova, and young activists Katsyaryna Illina and Natallya Padolskaya.
According to the Radio Svaboda, five police tours of duty arrived, at least it was an order of the deputy head of the regional internal affairs department colonel Alyonashkin, who was in charge of detentions. He ordered policemen to put out all candles. He gave the same order to participants of the action, and they were detained when refused to do so.
