Uladzimir Katsora not acquitted

According to the Assembly of NGOs press-service, Katsoras complaint was not sustained by Homel Prosecutors Office and Regional Court. He was sentenced to 10 days of arrest for distributing leaflets, while such offence should be punished by a warning and a fine. The complaint said that under the Law of Mass Actions, it is prohibited to inform about the date, time and place of an action that has not been authorized yet. However, the leaflets distributed by Katsora mentioned the date only.
The action mentioned in the leaflets never took place, since it was not authorized by Homel Regional executive Committee.
It was Katsoras second detention this year  before that he was detained in March for hooliganism, while he was at the head of Milinkevichs Homel office. In both cases Katsora did not admit his guilt and was on hunger-strikes while in prison.
