In the evening of 17 March in Rechytsa the police detained Aleh Shabetnik for handing out the agitation booklets. Meanwhile, at the police station the activist was accused of swearing, unchasty behavior and violation of the public order. By that time the court was closed and Mr Shabetnik was detained at the police till 20 March. According to BelaPAN, today the activist was tried. The activist noted there were two witnesses who could confirm he didn’t swear in the street. Finally the judge warned Mr Shabetnik about the inadmissibility to call names in public and released him from the court hall.
