On 3 March Minsk Partyzanski Borough Court Heorhi Viazouski,the pastor of the Baptist church Zapavet Khrysta, was sentenced to 10 days of arrest for unauthorized liturgy. The religious community Zapavet Krysta consists of about 40 members. The liturgies take place in a private house in Minsk. About three weeks ago the local police inspector and a representative of Minsk Pershamaiski Borough Executive Committee paid a visit to the liturgy and composed on the pastor a report for violation of article 167-1 of the Code of Administrative Violations (unauthorized religious action).
