Hrodna: Police Detain Representatives of Belarusian People's Front and Swedish Conservative Party

The member of the Belarusian People’s Front Ales Kalita explained to RFE/RL that the attention of the policemen was drawn by the portrait of Aliaksandr Milinkevich on one of the bus windows. As a result, three police cars quickly arrived to Lenin Street, where the guests were taking a lunch. The policemen were looking for printed editions. They escorted the bus with passengers to Hrodna Kastrychnitski Borough Board of Internal Affairs. There they composed the report of examination of the bus and then let it go. The bus driver and one of the Swedish guests were also made to give explanations. Soon all the detainees were released.
