In Svetlahorsk a disciplinary case was brought against the police inspector Rahalevich for the law violations during the examination of the flat of the local public activist Telman Masliukou. The examination on the flat “on suspicion in keeping arms and drugs” was conducted by six policemen of Svetlahorsk District Board of Internal Affairs. During the “examination” they confiscated jellygraphs, CDs and printed editions. They didn’t compose the list of the confiscated things, didn’t wrap and seal them and invited no witnesses, thus violating the Criminal-Process Code.

The order for the examination was issued to Mr. Rahalevich. However, according to T. Masliukou, it was the police major Piatro Zykun who gave orders to other policemen. He remains unpunished.
