According to RFE/RL
On 11 February Minsk Leninski Borough Court sentenced Aliaksandr Manaeu to 10 days of jail for alleged organization of unauthorized action at Chervenski market on 10 February. According to the activist of trade union movement Ihar Lednik, the court tried Mr. Manaeu twice. On 10 February the judge Vera Tupik issued to him a warning. Then the procurator protested against this verdict. The case was re-considered and Manaeu was sentenced to imprisonment. Entrepreneurs consider this sentence politically motivated, aimed at disruption of the strike of entrepreneurs, appointed on 2-3 March, the day of the officious All-Belarusian Assembly.
