“Khimik” Newspaper Removed from Subscription Catalog

Since 10 February Navapolatsk post won’t distribute the regional non-state newspaper “Khimik”. The editorial office of the newspaper was informed about it by the official letter, sent by Alena Klimava, chair of Navapolatsk city post office. A similar letter was received from Mr. Paramonau, chair of Polatsk city post office. The editorial office of the newspaper informed the Belarusian Association of Journalists they were not going to stop the issue and were going to organize their own currier service to deliver the newspaper to readers.

We should also remind that since 1 January “Khimik” could be received only by subscription, because the local branch of Vitsebskablsaiuzdruk state enterprise refused to conclude an agreement for its sale in its kiosks.
