Pinsk City Executive Committee Doesn’t Permit Picketing to Siarhei Kastsiukovich

On 18 January the citizen of Pinsk Siarhei Kastsiukovich applied to Pinsk CEC with the request to permit to him picketing under the slogan Where is honest, transparent and fair election? He asked for permission to picket on 3 and 7 February and undertook not to violate the public order and clean the territory after the end of the picket. Recently he has received a letter, dated 27 January and signed by the CEC chair A. Kaneuski. There it was said it was impossible to authorize the picket, because it would be considered as violation of the regulations of the Electoral Code concerning the terms of pre-electoral agitation. S. Kastsiukovich was also warned that in the case he would hold the pickets, he would be punished.
