The Protestant community Light of the World faces liquidation

The community was registered in 1998 in Minsk City Executive Committee. It is a member of the association of the communities “Full Evangelic Christians”.
In 2004 the believers were reregistered. The rental expired on October 31. Pastor Andrei Sidar told Radio Liberty that he cannot have the church registered at the new address because, according to him, the executive committee officials prohibit the office premises owners to give the believers their address.
Pastor of the community Light of the World Andrei Sidar may now be fined for worshipping without the official permission, which, after two warnings, may lead to the liquidation of the community in court.
