Babruisk administrative case against Young Front activists remains open
On 19 December the court of Pershamaiski district of Babruisk continued to hear an administrative case against Siarhei Latsinski and Dzianis Buinitski by terms of Article 167-2 of CAO (use of unregistered symbols)
The boys were detained on 22 October during a rock concert Rock for Beavers because they had unfolded a white-red-white flag.
According to the human rights activist from Babruisk Ihar Khodzka, during the court hearings Buinitski explained that he had Latsinski on his shoulders and so could not wave anything. Latsinski said that he was a member of the BPF Party and used the party flag officially registered by the Ministry of Justice.
After explanations and evidence given by witnesses, judge Tatsiana Vasilieuna Tarabuieva ruled: the minutes and materials of the case must be returned to the Board of Internal Affairs of Babruisk City Executive Committee and evidence must be attached to it, proving that the flag used at the concert was not registered, and that the flag itself must be attached.
