State Distribution Nets Continue Breaking Distribution Agreements with Independent Press

Baranavichy district postal office refused to prolong the agreements for distribution and delivery of the non-state newspapers Intex-press and Miastsovy Chas in 2006. It was stated in the official letter, sent to Uladzimir Ianukievich, director of Intex-press Publishing House Ltd.

According to the press-service of Belarusian Association of Journalists, on 2 December Viktar Valadashchuk, chief editor of the non-state newspaper Hazieta Slonimskaia found out from S. Dziarechy, director of Vaukavysk inter-district department of Hrodnaablsaiuzdruk state distribution net that it wasn’t going to conclude the agreement for the sale of the newspaper in its kiosks.
