The judge of the district court in Shchuchyna Tatsiana Tadarouskaia punished Andrei Pachobut for disorderly conduct. On Friday the car, in which Pachobut and Ivan Roman, a Salidarnasts newspaper reporter were driving, was detained as it was leaving Shchuchyn. They were taken to Luninski BBIA in Hrodna and then back to Shchuchyn. Both had to spend the night in the police station, and on Saturday both were released. Hienrykh Zubiel, the deputy head of the Shchuchyna police, fined Ivan Roman for alleged disorderly conduct.
Today Andrei Pachobut was interrogated in Shchuchyn in a criminal case against him, the journalist Andrzej Pisalnik and two deputy heads of the UPB – Veslau Keuliak and Iuzaf Pazhetski. The case was started according to the statement made by the Director of the House of Poland in Shchuchyn Viktar Bohdan. Bohdan accuses all of the four people of forcing him to give them the keys and leave the study. The investigators consider the UPB activists suspects in this case.
