Anzhalika Borys, UPB chair informed Radio Liberty that the police detained Vieslau Kieuliak, one of the deputy chairs of the organization. The detention was witnessed by the worker of Glos z-nad Niemna newspaper Viktar Bantar, who saw Kieuliak taken to Hrodna Leninski Borough Board of Internal Affairs. There the police captain Viechar interrogated Kieuliak concerning the yesterday’s events near the UPB office.
The radio correspondent applied to the duty policeman of Hrodna Leninski BBIA, but he didn’t confirm Kieuliak was there and directed her to the BBIA head. The deputy head of the BBIA Aliaksandr Khilko refused to speak to the journalist.
