On 25 July the younger brother of the former deputy Aliaxandr quoted to Radio Liberty Siarhei Skrabiets's wife as saying that her husband would stay in custody until 27 August. Investigators believe that the ex-deputy, if released, may influence the other parties to the investigation process, so they do not want to release him on parole.
According to Aliaxandr Skrabiets, his brother, as earlier, is in Brest detention center.
