On 24 March the police detained Aliaxei Yanukievich, Deputy Chair of the BPF Party, as he was handing out copies of the Day of Freedom bulletin among the students of the Belarusian State Economic University. The bulletin is devoted to the declaration of independence of Belarus on 25 March 1918.
Now Aliaxei is in the Zavodski Department of Internal Affairs of Minsk.
