On October 16 CEC Rejects Appeals of All Candidates
On October 16 the Central Election Commission considered 3 appeals about cancellation of candidates’ registration.
Ivan Antashkevich ran in Pushkinski district # 103. His registration was cancelled because his proxies handed out Narodnaya Volya newspaper to voters. District election commission claims to having received information from voters.
Alaksei Mikhalevich ran in Uruchcha district # 109. His registration was cancelled as the result of the prevocational leaflet put in two apartment buildings in Kalinowskaha Street. The leaflets were pasted on the doors of the voters. The leaflets were absolutely illiterate – 19 spelling mistakes. The commission claims to having received information from voters.
Susana Fursa ran in Uruchcha district # 109. She lost her registration for alleged distribution of Respublika newspaper during the picket. The commission claims to having received information from voters.
