Detained for Protest against Law “About Religious Freedom and Religious Organizations”

On November 8 in Independence Square in Miensk Siarhiei Piezkin and Ihar Zakreuski held an action of protest against the law “About Religious Freedom and Religious Organizations”, adopted in the second reading by the Chamber of Representatives of the National Assembly. They went along Frantsysk Skaryna Avenue from Iakub Kolas Square to Independence Square, wearing the posters that looked like prison clothes, with the inscriptions “The new law on religions is a return to the dark ages”, “The National Assembly has defamed itself with the law on religions”.
