Miensk Maskouski Court Reprimanded Kanstantsin Khadyka and Siarhiei Pianykh

On November 4 Miensk Maskouski borough court considered the administrative case against the younger son of the well-known Belarusian politician Iury Khadyka, Kanstantsin Khadyka and Siarhiei Pianykh. The case was initiated for holding of an unauthorized picket in support of OSCE activity in Belarus on October 29. On that day Alian Jossan, the last OSCE representative who remained in Belarus, had to leave the country because of the refusal of the Belarusian authorities to prolong it. At the trial Khadyka and Pianykh stated tat they hadn’t had enough time for applying to Miensk city executive for permission as they had found out about Aline’s departure too late. However, judge Zmitsier Antanievich found the fuys guilty of violation of the first part of Article No. 167 of the Code of Administrative Violations and reprimanded them.
