On July 29, 2022, the Maskoŭski District Court of Minsk passed a verdict in the criminal case against Alesia Kureichyk, a bank employee accused of ‘actively participating in actions that grossly violate public order’ under Part 1 of Article 342 of the Criminal Code.
Judge Tatsiana Pirozhnikava considered the case.
Political prisoner Alesia Kureichyk, a bank employee, was detained on May 24, 2022, as part of a criminal case for ‘group actions grossly violating public order’ under Article 342 of the Criminal Code for participating in protests in August 2020.
On July 29, 2022, the Maskoŭski District Court of Minsk found Alesia guilty and sentenced her to three years of restricted freedom under home confinement.
