A resident of Slonim, Uladzimir Litsvin, was very surprised at receiving an official invitation to vote, received by his mother, Hana Khilimonchyk.
He warned members of precinct election commission No. 26 that his mother had died back in August 2014.
“I warned them and asked why they had put a dead person in the voter lists. Members of the commission didn't answer. I asked them to cross out the mother's surname with a pen, but they only crossed it out lightly, with a pencil, instead,” says Mr. Litsvin.
