“In 2010 managed to keep access to its website through the PDA-version. Today we are totally blocked,” said the editorial office on the evening of March 25. The website was supposed to make live coverage of the procession and demonstration organized by opposition leaders and sanctioned by Minsk authorities. The national holiday Liberty Day is celebrated to mark the proclamation of the Belarusian People’s Republic (BNR) on March 25, 1918.

“This is the first incident to occur with Nasha Niva website. We did not have access to the website from anywhere, except for the data-center. It is likely due to some intentional blockade by Beltelecom. We also suppose that the website has become a kind of a training ground to drill new “methods of work” before the presidential elections in 2015,” writes NN.
