Zmitser Drozd and Siarhei Kazakou received a suit from Babruisk correctional colony No. 2.

Former political prisoner Zmitser Drozd wrote it on Facebook.

“I received a present on December 19 – a court summons,” he writes.

Drozd adds Siarhei Kazakou received the same summons earlier. It is a civil process, he says.

“It is a suit against me and Kazakou. Babruisk correctional colony No. 2 wants us to 'compensate for the expenses on food, clothes, footwear and utility services'. The correctional facility estimates the damage at 161,061 rubles,” the former political prisoner noted.

Zmitser Drozd was a member of Andrei Sannikov's initiative team during the 2010 presidential elections. Like activist of the civil campaign European Belarus Siarhei Kazakou, he was sentenced to three years in a medium security correctional colony after the events on December 19, 2010. Drozd and Kazakou were pardoned in August 2011.
