Letters stop coming from Mikalai Autukhovich

As
said by several adherents of the party “Belarusian Christian
Democracy” to its press-secretary, Dzianis Sadouski, they have
ceased to receive letters from the political prisoner, noting
the absence of letters from him and his failure to answer several
letters, which has never happened before.
“To our mind, it
witnesses that Mikalai Autukhovich is cut off all information,
including letters”.
Mr. Sadouski thinks it can be connected
with the action of protest held by Mikalai Autukhovich, who badly
cut his stomach.
The
former entrepreneur from Vaukavysk, a veteran of the war in
Afghanistan Mikalai Autukhovich has been kept in prison since 8
February 2009. He was sentenced to five years and two months of
imprisonment, allegedly for the illegal storage of several fire
cartridges.
