Vasil Parfiankou fined for violation of the regime of preventive supervision

Vasil Parfiankou has been charged with
a violation of the regime of preventive supervision for the first
time since the release from the detention facility on 9 February. On
4 April Yury Harbatouski, Judge of Pershamaiski District Court of
Minsk, fined him 800,000 rubles.
Bear in mind that on 29 March
2012 Siarhei Bandarenka, Judge of Pershamaiski District Court of
Minsk, sentenced Vasil Parfiankou to six months of arrest under
Article 421 of the Criminal Code for an alleged violation of the
regime of the preventive supervision, established over him for one
year on 5 January 2012. The reason for the supervision was Vasil's
active participation in the social and political life of the
country.
On 24 July 2012 Minsk City Court turned down
Parfiankou's appeal against the verdict according to which he was
sentenced to six months arrest. On 9 August 2012 – 9 February 2013
Vasil Parfiankou served his arrest term in the detention facility in
Baranavichy remand prison #6.
