The former Prime Minister of Latvia, a deputy of the European Parliament Ivar Godmanis has been prohibited entering Belarus.

He informed about that in an interview to LNT TV channel.

As said by Ivar Godmanis, in early march he planned to visit Belarus, in order to meet with representatives of Belarusian authorities and opposition, but he failed to receive a visa.
