Andrei Dzmitryieu, the head of the campaign team of the presidential candidate Uladzimir Niakliayeu, has been released from the KGB jail this morning on his own recognizance.

Political scientist Vital Silitski posted this information on Facebook. He said he was drinking coffee with Dzmitryieu in a Minsk café. RFE/RL phoned to Silitski and he confirmed this information. Andrei Dzmitryieu said he wasn’t ready to talk with journalists yet.
