On 8 November the first chair of the Union of Poles in Belarus Tadevush Havin was summonsed to the police. The investigator asked him to tell how the means of the union were divided during his chairmanship. According to Mr. Havin, the investigator was mostly interested in the foreign humanitarian support for children of Hrodna region.

According to the Polish radio, this interrogation is connected to the check-up of the activity of Anzhalika Borys when he became the organization chair. We should remind that the former chair of the Union of Poles in Belarus Tadevush Krushkouski complained to the police, accusing A. Borys in disappearance of some documents and the organization seal from the Polish House. Anzhalika Borys has been already summonsed to the police several times concerning this case. She stated that Polish House was seized by the riot police and she didn’t even manage to take away her personal belongings. Nevertheless, the investigation is going on.
