Shklow Election Commission Warns BPF Parliamentary Candidate Ryhor Kastusiow

RFE/RL reports, Shklow election commission issued a warning to Ryhor Kastusiow, BPF candidate to Parliament. According to the candidate, the warning is connected with the searches the police carried out in the apartments of his proxies. In the apartment of one of them the police found copies of Zubr newspaper and leaflets with an article about Belarusian police printed out from the Internet. In particular, the leaflet mentioned Uladzimir Kanaplow, Kastusiow’s opponent in the parliamentary race.
Shklow election commission used that as a ground to issue a warning for “distribution of knowingly untrue information about another candidate”. However, the question is not settled yet. Ryhor Kastusiow was invited to the session of the election commission on Monday.
