The activists believe that by banning the events the officials violated the law and the rights of citizens to freely express their thoughts.

On October 21, the Court of Minsk district and the town of Zaslauye, having considered the complaint of several activists of the Belarusian National Bolshevik movement, quashed the decisions made by the head of Zhdanovichy police station and forwarded their administrative charges for reinvestigation. Uladzimir Labkovich, member of the Board of the Human Rights Center "Viasna", filed on October 18 a complaint to the Minsk City Court against the decision of Savetski District Court.
