A search is going on in the sociological laboratory Novak. It is conducted by officers of the department of financial investigations of the State Control Committee. They are copying information from the laboratory’s computers. According to information of the European Radio for Belarus, KGB officers take part in the search as well.

Resident of Babruisk Volha Siianava, activist of the Belarusian Christian Democracy Party, was served a writ to come to the Minsk KGB department on 9 March, 'without personal belongings'. During this election campaign Volha is a member of the initiative group of her mother who is running for the Babruisk town Soviet of Deputies. At first the Babruisk KGB offered the girl to collaborate with them. When she refused, they instigated a criminal case for fraud.

The deported Russian journalist says people in mufti questioned him in a neglected sanatorium in the forest.

We remind that a film crew of the Russian NTV channel, namely journalist Andrei Malkov and camera operator Yury Babenko, was deported from Belarus on August 14. The film crew was making a report about the missing politicians and public activists. The Russian journalist interviewed the wife of parliamentary vice speaker Viktar Hanchar disappeared in 1999 and the wife of journalist Zmitser Zavadski, who disappeared in 2000. The international community accuses a number of high-ranking Belarusian officials from Alyaksandr Lukashenka’s inner circle of their involvement in the kidnapping.
