04.04.2013 Human rights defenders issue a statement concerning the cracking of the website of Mahiliou "Viasna" branch
In the evening of 2 April unidentified persons acquired unauthorized access to the website of Mahiliou branch of the Human Rights Center "Viasna" and published an article with threats to indpendent journalist Ales Burakou on behalf of human rights defender Barys Bukhel. The unknown offenders hacked the website security and changed the administrator's passwords.
04.04.2013 Viktar Buzinayeu gets official notice about appointment of expert examination
Babruisk leader of the United Civil Party Viktar Buzinayeu has received an official document from Homel customs office, in which it is stated that an expert examination of the printed editions confiscated from his car was appointed in accordance with Article 138 of the Customs Code of the Republic of Belarus with the aim to determine whether they contained any information prohibited for import to the territory of the Customs Union.
