Recall that on December 30, the Minsk City Court convicted stand-up comedian Slava Kamisaranka in absentia. Judge Anastasiya Papko sentenced him to six years in a general security penal colony. His case was heard at three meetings.
Viachaslau was accused of "slandering Lukashenka" (Part 2 of Article 367 of the Criminal Code), "insulting Lukashenka" (Part 1 of Article 368 of the Criminal Code), and "inciting other social hatred" (Part 1 of Article 130 of the Criminal Code). The basis for the criminal case was his stand-up performances mentioning Lukashenka and the police.
Kamisaranka was put on the wanted list in January 2022 and was forced to leave Russia, where he had been living for the past few years.
