Belarusian Christian Democracy denied registration again
The Belarusian Christian Democracy party has been denied state registration for the fourth time straight, said Minister of Justice Aleh Slizheuski at a press-conference on 19 January.
Brest city office of the Belarusian Leftist Party Fair World has submitted another bid for state registration after the party’s activists received a communication from the city’s executive committee saying that the issue was under the administration’s control.
The Brest city organization of the Belarusian Leftist Party “Fair World” received another refusal to register the legal address of the organization in the private house which belonged to the head of the party structure, Liudmila Dzenisenka.
Judge Mikalai Babkou has dismissed a lawsuit lodged by Uladzimir Niakliayeu and Siarhei Vazniak, contesting an earlier decision by the Ministry of Justice to deny registration to the civil campaign, Radio Free Europe/Radio Liberty reports.
