Ruslan Nevar has lodged a complaint against a decision by Minsk City Court which upheld a 4 mln fine of 6 April 2012 ordered by Kastrychnitski District Court for refusing to undergo forced fingerprinting.

The UN Human Rights Committee considered the appeal of Vitsebsk activist Siarhei Beyazeka against unlawful actions of the police and a court verdict for more than four years.

On 8 May Siarhei Koneu, Judge of the Mahiliou Regional Court, turned down the appeal of civil activist against the verdict of the Leninski District Court of Mahiliou, according to which he had been sentenced to a fine for distributing the unregistered newspaper “Tut i Tsiaper” without a special distribution agreement.

Siarhei Niahatsin, activist of the Belarusian Popular Front’s Mahiliou office, has lodged an appeal with the Regional Court against a 3-mln fine imposed by Judge Aksana ratnikava of Leninski District Court.

Minsk Maskouski District Court has fined Marharyta Lavyshyk, girlfriend of Viachalsau Dziyanau, coordinator of the Revolution through Social Networks online campaign, BYR 1.5 mln for alleged violation of Art. 17.1 of the Administrative Code (disorderly conduct).

The activists were detained during the opening of the memorial sign "River of Memory" on 11 April and held in detention during one night. On 12 April the Leninski District Court fined them 2 and 1.5 million rubles for "disorderly conduct" (Article 17.1 of the Code of Administrative Violations).
