On 20 April, Babruisk court ordered to pay BYR 2,293,000 to local opposition activist Kanstantsin Loktseu as a compensation for the damage allegedly inflicted to him by his former employer. At the same time, the court failed to rehabilitate the activist’s rights by forcing the administration of a children’s summer camp “Mechta” to reinstate him to his former position as a boiler operator.

Shovelman Leanid Dubanosau still hasn’t passed the exam on electric security, as “special” continues are created for him each time. For instance, while he was passing the exam with an acquaintance, the latter was given questions. Babruisk resident Kanstantsin Loktseu was fired on 17 January after taking part in the organization of last year’s People’s Assembly opposition rally and a subsequent conviction for alleged violations of the Mass Events Code.

Aleh Stakhayevich, leader of the independent trade union at the Granite enterprise, is appealing his dismissal in the court of Luninets District.
