An activist of the United Civil Party Usevalad Shasharyn has been sentenced to 9 days of administartive arrest by Moscow District Court of Minsk today, reports Radio Liberty.

06.12.2010 Young Front activist gets fined for posting ads on notice boards
The administrative commission of the Maskouski district of Minsk (headed by ) sentenced Eduard Balanchuk to pay 105,000 rubles (about $35) for posting Young Front adverts on the notice boards at the entrance of multi-stored houses in the town of Babruisk. The activist was informed about it by a special letter which he received on 3 December.

On 2 December the Hrodna Region Court considered the appeal of Dzmitry Bandarchuk against the verdict of the Leninski District Court of Hrodna of 10 November 2010, according to which he was fined 700,000 rubles (about $230) for the alleged production and an attempt of distribution of the newspaper Prauda Niakliayeva.

Barys Hamaida and Yan Dazortsau have been punished. Judge Alena Tsyhankova interpreted their actions as organization of an unauthorized picket. Mr. Dazortsau will be fined for Br350 thousand (10 base amounts) and Mr. Hamaida will spend five days in jail.

The Chairperson of the Haradok town organization of the Belarusian Popular Front Party Leanid Autukhou was deprived of his computer due to the failure to pay the fine to which he had been sentenced last year for a street action with Belarusian national white-red-white flags.
10.11.2010 Vitsebsk: journalist not invited to sittings of district election commissions
Leanid Svetsik got registered at the Kastrychnitski, the Pershamaiski and the Chyhunachny district election commissions of Vitsebsk as an independent journalist. Now he has to compose complaints: he hasn’t missed three sittings of the Pershamaiski and the Chyhunachny DECs already as he wasn’t invited to them.
