16.12.2011 National Bolshevik activist Kontush fined on false evidence charges
The hooliganism case of activist of the National Bolsheviks Party Yauhen Kontysh has taken an unexpected turn after the youth was invited to Minsk Pershamaiski District Police Department for reported termination of the administrative prosecution, where he faced new charges for alleged giving false evidence, namely failure to state the names of his co-activists suspected of involvement in an action outside the Belarusian State TV office in Minsk on 3 December.

On 2 December Maryiana Valchkova, Judge of the Partyzanski District Court of Minsk, left standing the ruling of the Partyzanski District Tax Inspection of Minsk of 19 October 2011, according to which human rights defender Valiantsin Stefanovich was fined 4,727,330 rubles for “the failure to mention the whole sum of taxable income through inattentiveness”.

08.12.2011 Barysau: verdict to signature collector to be announced on 12 December
On 7 December the second hearing on the case of Mikalai Iliiushonak took place at the Barysau City Court. Illiushonak had been detained on 21 September, while collecting signatures for holding a People’s Assembly in Barysau. He was kept at the police station for three hours and his car and apartment were inspected.
