Hrodna: chairman of PEC No. 110 changes protocol of early voting
Observers of the campaign “Human Rights Defenders for Free Elections” discovered a violation of the electoral legislation at polling station No. 110 in Hrodna.
On October 7 in the afternoon, observer Raman Yurhel came to polling station No. 110 and saw at the informational stand the information in the PEC protocol for October 6, indicating that 2,500 ballots were received. The same day, after 7 p.m. on this polling station, observer Sviatlana Bryvach saw that in the protocol for October 7 this number was changed to 2,400. The protocol for October 6 was changed too, and some other numbers were also replaced.
The observers consider such actions of the commission chairman as a gross violation of the electoral legislation. Mr. Yurhel filed appeals to the TEC of the Kastryčnicki distict of Hrodna and the Central Election Commission of Belarus on this fact.
