According to members of the electoral team, who collect signatures in support of the nomination of Mrs. Karatkevich a candidate for the presidential elections, the incident took place on Saturday at their picket in Savieckaja Street.

A middle-aged man suddenly ran up towards the informational stand dedicated to Tatsiana Karatkevich and tore down the flag of the Belarusian Social Democratic Hramada (in the photo). Moreover, he tried to interfere with the collection of signatures and insulted the picketers. They called the police, but the offender managed to flee before the arrival of the police patrol.

This is not the first case of attacks on electoral pickets of alternative contenders. Earlier, such cases were registered in Hrodna and Navapolack.
