He gave a call in early May and said he had been incarcerated for ten days. Later he sent only one letter, Radio Racyja reports.

"This is a physical and psychological isolation. Someone wants everybody to forget about political prisoners, his mother Valiantsina Alinevich says. He has always been kept in an information vacuum. And now he is deprived of visits and constantly put pressure on, I even have no opportunity to talk tete-a-tete. I think it concerns all the political prisoners. They are throttled".

Valiantsina Alinevich corresponds with relatives of some political prisoners of Bolotnaya Square case in Russia. In her words, they have also been convicted for nothing. But unlike Belarus prisoners they serve their term without additional pressure on the part of administration of correctional facilities. They are allowed dates, parcels, meetings with relatives, for them parole is possible and they are eligible for parole. Belarusian political prisoners are constantly put under illegal sadistic pressure, Alinevich's mother says.

Ihar Alinevich, the activist of an anarchist movement, has been sentenced to 8 years of imprisonment allegedly for violence towards official buildings. He did not found himself guilty. Earlier, he served his sentence in colony in Navapolatsk, which is "famous" for its poor conditions. However, early last year the colony was disbanded and Ihar Alinevich was transferred to the Vitsba-3.
