The police are searching the socio-political centrein Paleskaya Street, 52 in Homel. According to the deputy chair of the United Civil Party Vasil Paliakou, the policemen came to the socio-political centre, where a number of public movements and organizations rent offices, with a search warrant, issued by the prosecutor.

As explained by the law enforcers, one of Internet users had allegedly posted a pornographic video from an IP-address received in Paleskaya, 52, and a criminal case had been brought on the fact.

The police also asked about the human rights activist Leanid Sudalenka, who was out of Belarus at the moment, and his e-mail address. They said that he could have some relation to the case, too.

Leanid Sudalenka's apartment is being searched too.
