Yury Belenki will appeal a ruling of the Leninski district court of Minsk. Judge Maryna Zapasnik informed the guardianship authorities about the need to monitor the situation of children in the family of the deputy chairman of the Conservative Christian Party of the Belarusian Popular Front.

Yury Belenki has one
daughter, who is studying in high school, doing well and attending art school and a dance studio.

The politician
claims this is political persecution, the more that this very judge considered the administrative charges against him, related to the organization of a rally in memory of the victims of Stalin's repressions in Loshytsa:

“We
intend to file an appeal with the prosecutor's office, as far as this court ruling is illegal even under the current repressive legislation. We will appeal to the prosecutors to get this ruling reversed and make the prosecutor's office take measures of prosecutorial reaction towards the judge who has issued this unlawful ruling.”

Yur
y Belenki recalls the Stalinist practice when children were taken away from so-called "enemies of the people", and believes that every manifestation of such behavior needs to be stopped immediately in the very beginning.

Let us remind that the rally in the Loshytsa suburb of Minsk was held in November 2014 and was allowed by the authorities. However, later Mr. Belenki was prosecuted and fined 4.5 million roubles on charges of failing to provide security during the event. The politician pleaded innocent and appealed the verdict.
