Last Dawn presented in Bialynichy district

On August 28, Bialynichy district hosted a presentation of the multimedia project Aposhni Zolak (“Last Dawn”). The event was arranged in the framework of the campaign “Human Rights Defenders Against the Death Penalty”. It also included the screening of an animated film entitled The Executioner.

The event took place in a private house in the town of Vialikaya Mashchanitsa. Coordinator of the campaign “Human Rights Defenders Against the Death Penalty” Andrei Paluda told local activists about the campaign, as well as presented the album Aposhni Zolak, in which several well-known Belarusian musicians presented their songs against the death penalty.

The Executioner was created by a creative team of volunteers of the campaign. The film raises the question of lives and fates of people who are executing death verdicts and live among us.

Andrei Paluda also told the activists about other video products, which have been made in the framework of the campaign “Human Rights Defenders Against the Death Penalty”.

At the end of the meeting, all participants received free copies of the Aposhni Zolak project.
