August 30, Vitsebsk medic truth-teller Ihar Pastnou filed an applicatin for the picket to the Kastrychnitski Distrit Executive Committee of Vitsebsk. He intends to hold the event on August 30 or the weekend after this date by picketing with a poster “Thanks to Our Father for Our Happy Life!".

In addition, he intends to put on the poster the photo of his wage receipt and photos from Vitsebsk hospitals.

The picket planned as a one-man action. Mr. Pastnou intends to hold it in Vitsebsk Park of Culture and Rest named after the Soviet Army, which is the officially approved location for public events. In case he doesn't get a permission, he will hold his event in another, less crowded place, and will upload to the Internet photos and video, the website says.

This winter Ihar Pastnou has held a similar event. The Kastrychnitski DEC also refused to authorize his picket against the police violence. However, he held the action and uploaded a video of his speech: holding a funeral wreath with black ribbons, Ihar Pastnou talked about illegal actions of the police, which sometimes resulted in human tragedies. According to psychiatrist Ihar Pastnou, the pretenders for work in police need a thorough psychiatric examination to prevent the employment of persons prone to violence and sadism.
